Heat Wave by Droog

The ‘Heat wave’ radiator by Joris Laarman of Droog design is now available. Giving the appearance of decorative wall art it serves two purposes in one. Not only does it throw off radiant heat but looks decorative and attractive unlike most heaters. It’s made of concrete and aluminium and held together with glass fibre. Launched at Ambiente 2006, 10 – 14 February,Frankfurt. Droog says there will be a water version coming out in 2007. Hopefully this will be more successful than Glenn Lowry’s solar wall.
