On the last Friday of every month, the V&A hosts a contemporary late night event in the museum. Centred around a theme or exhibition, the evenings feature live performances, guest DJ’s and often hands-on activities as well as a late bar.
What a great idea!
Similar to dfactory but with a more casual appeal, no real purpose other than view an exhibition. Its aimed at a young audience providing a funky environment of like-minded people to just hang out and enjoy an activity. A good way to launch craft activities and start groups and design related clubs and engender feeling of ownership and belonging – a future audience.
I like it! Top marks to the V&A working towards securing the future. If you go to the link you’ll also get great instructions on RSS feeds and how to use them.
