Eleanor light

I’m obviously into all things knitted or crocheted today ( must have been the effect of all that hand stitching I’ve been doing lately) so thought I would include this little gem in my posts. This has been spotted around by some of the other blogers (call me a bore if you like) but I think it has charm and harks the onset of the hadmade.

My prediction for 2006 – you’ll be seeing more like this. In fact I will also predict that the braver of you will be making interpretations of your own updating your own decor.

And for those of you who are interested
Perch! was founded in 2004 by Amy Adams using slip cast ceramics to create objects based on simplicity of form and materials. The line of products combines the utility of industrial design with the beauty of handmade art. Amy uses slip casting as a means to design and make functional objects on a production scale.

The Eleanor Light is a 10″ diameter white ceramic pendant with a white ultra suede knit cozy.
