More on colour and stone finish

I had mentioned the use of stone finish in a previous post about colour and texture for your walls so I thought it would be good to show you just how it comes up. My photo shows you an external wall on my balcony however I’m also recommending it for internal use and you will be able to find internal paint with a diverse range of colour. I’m still tempted to use it in the bedroom.

  • Note that the texured wall will absorb light because of its matt finish so use dark colours sparingly and for feature walls.

The photo shows you how the edges of the brickwork is softened and has been matched to the balcony tiling to give a feeling of continuity. (More on continuity later).

But here is an image from Wattyl to give you an impression of internal use.
