Broken records exhibition, street festivals and books

broken-records.gif

And now for something different. Broken Records an art exhibition at China Heights Surry Hills, featuring around 40 artists recreating their favourite album cover design.

It opens this Friday night and runs till January 29. This should be loads of fun.

When you’re there check out the the SPACE3 book design.

SPACE3 was an alternative gallery space on the corner of Cleveland and Regent St, in Chippendale, 2000 to 2005. Now closed for redevelopment, SPACE3 exists in projects outside of the original building utilising the network, philosophies and experience it built up over those 5 years to provide new opportunities for artists.

And look out for the spectacular street festival finale, Gang Festival, on the 29th January.
