The burden of fetching water in developing or third world countries is invariably over long distances by cumbersome and far too often, unhygienic means. Now there is a solution. The Q-Drum solves the problem.

In response to the needs of rural people for clean and potable water, the solution had to be simple. Carrying water in adequate quantities is difficult due to weight so by rolling the water in a cylindrical container is an ingenious solution. The container is durable, and breakable handles & other attachments are excluded from the design avoiding parts that would require replacement over time. Simple tools are all too often scarce and expensive commodities.

The Q-Drum provides a simplistic, cost effective and durable solution. The uniqueness of the Q-Drum lies in the idea and design of the longitudinal shaft or doughnut hole, and is acknowledged by the fact that Worldwide patents have been granted for the concept.
